This is a somewhat nice chair, but it has a couple of problems. I got the leather one with the headrest. After using it for less than 3 months one of the arm rests no longer stays up so now I have to have both armrests at the lowest position or be lopsided with one up and one down. Broken in just 3 months. That's a big complaint but the biggest complaint I have is that you can't adjust the tilt forward and back of the seat itself. You can adjust the tilt of the back, the placement of the lumbar support, the height of the chair, the height of the armrests, but not the tilt of the seat. This seat is set so that it always feels like I'm sliding down and off the front of the seat. In fact, after working for an hour or so I end up actually sitting on the edge of the front of the seat, having slowly slid forward. That's really irritating. Another thing about this chair is that the armrests don't lock into place so that if you grab your chair by the armrest to pull it over to you the arm rest will pull up and then go down and you have to adjust it again. I find that the chair is reasonably comfortable but not in a cushy way. Sort of like the difference between an army cot and a feather bed. This chair is the army cot. One thing I DO like about the chair is that it lifts up high enough for a tall person.

I've had this chair for about two weeks now and I'm still getting used to it. I appreciate that all of the operations are confined to one lever. I'm tall, so I like that the seat pan is adjustable. The lumbar support is very good, although it took a little bit of effort to get it to where it was most comfortable. I wish that the levers to raise and lower the seat back were a little more substantial. The back is pretty heavy, and the two little metal levers do not make it very easy to lift the back up. All in all, though, it is a very good, sturdy chair, certainly better than any chair I've had a home.

I've had back and neck pain for years, and sitting in this chair for a week now has relieved most of that pain. Clearly it stemmed from bad posture, and sitting in a "normal" office chair that didn't support and encourage proper posture. This chair puts me in proper sitting posture while I work all day, and now my back and neck pain are a thing of the past! I hesitated spending so much on a chair, but I can't over-emphasize how great this chair is; thank you!

I'm a big fan of this chair after about 1 week of use. It arrived promptly and was easy to assemble (took about 15 minutes). There are a range of possible adjustments and it took a day or so to lock it in so it's right for me. I am 6 feet tall and was seeking greater lumbar support. The chair is very comfortable and is well made-- there's nothing cheap about it.

This chair is well made and adjustable enough and then some. I am 6 foot 1 inch tall and the head rest should raise a little higher to be perfect. If it raised another inch or two I would definitely have given a 5 star rating. That being said it still works for me as long as I recline the seat a little. It would also be nice if the recline adjustment would be infinitely settable. As it is it has preset spots you can recline to. This is not a bad thing but it would be better if you could recline exactly as much or as little as you would like. Overall this is an excellent chair and I would buy it again. Very heavy and well made, not to mention very comfortable. I sit in mime at least 10hrs a day.

Nice chair. Packaging, parts and instructions were all thoroughly prepared and thought out. The back / seat adjustment lever mechanism and functionality is different than any other chair I have used. I am not a fan of that feature but I am sure I will adjust. I too would of preferred a different arm adjustment mechanism.

I am very happy with everything about the chair, BUT, the arm rests really stink. Unless I am missing something in the instructions, you can not lock in the "swivel" part of the arm rest (it can be made to swivel straight out, our swivel in to match your arm angle while doing a particular task). I am use to grabbing the chair arm piece to move/rotate my chair around, and now it mores the arm rests all around.....I have to get use to grabbing the head piece to the chair.

The chair is comfortable and has more adjustments than the seat in my car. I was concerned in the beginning about the chair but it turned out that I was so used to sitting in a cheap office chair I didn't know what to make of the new experience. I am having a problem with the piston as it makes a loud noise when I shift my weight, but when I called about it they stated I would receive a replacement part. If this solves the problem I would be happier.

I love this chair and would sleep in it if I could. I just had my shoulder replaced and was worried about sitting at my desk again. This chair allows me to set the arms at keyboard height and takes everything off of my shoulder.
