  1. New frame color pops!

    Posted by Mike

I’m Mike, a staffer here @ Ergohuman.com. I’ve been asked to write a staff review about the new Ergohuman V2 Chair V210MEBLK - Low Back with Gray Frame and Mesh … First off, I really like the gray frame option. In the past, Ergohuman chairs only came with the standard black frame, but the gray frame looks great – it helped brighten up my cubicle space a bit.

This mesh model features all of the same ergonomic features of the Ergohuman V2 with the headrest model, the only real difference is that this one comes without a headrest.

That means you get the same excellent lower and upper back support that you can feel as soon as you sit in the chair. You also get the light, breezy and comfortable mesh seat and back, plus the easy adjustability that all of the Ergohuman models offer.

One of the biggest advantages of the V2 models over the original Ergohumans is the highly-adjustable armrests, which now pivot back and forth. The adjustment controls under the seat are easy to find, making it easy to adjust the recline level and seat height to fit your needs. The V2 model also offers more adjustability options, including one more recline lock setting when compared to the original Ergohuman line.

I’m a short guy, about 5’7”, and have short legs, but my feet remained flat on the floor even at the highest seat height setting.

Like with the other mesh seats on the V2s, I did find the chair's seat width to be almost too narrow – I have a 35-inch waist, and while the seat was wide enough to fit me, I do prefer the wider seat on the original Ergohuman line. Still, the seat mesh was comfortable enough to sit for most of my workday.
